Brookshire moves forward with drainage project

The City of Brookshire City Council voted June 1 to begin the next phase of its drainage project on the north side of the city. James King of King Construction, who has been working with the city on the project, offered two different solutions for the council’s consideration.
The first possible solution was the result of King approaching Waller County for help per council’s instructions as McAllister Road is considered a major contributing factor by King and Dr. Herman Clay, City Engineer, to the flooding issue on the north side of Brookshire and within the Brookshire Gardens subdivision.
