Final Public Meeting to be held closing out historical achievement by the people

Hempstead-After 7 years, the Pintail Landfill public notification signs along Hwy 6 and Kelley Road have been replaced by a For Sale sign. Readers are reminded that Citizens Against the Landfill in Hempstead (CALH) is hosting its final Public Meeting on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 6:30 pm at the Hempstead Theater. Everyone is invited to attend, receive one last update and join in a celebration of the community’s historic achievement. Special guests will include Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, Rep. Cecil Bell, Waller County Judge Trey Duhon and Hempstead Mayor Michael Wolfe.
