Royal Health Science’s blood drive doubles goal
On February 22 of 2019 Royal High School’s Health Science CTE classes hosted the biggest blood drive in over 2 years. Throughout the week many health science students participated in gathering people to donate blood for the blood drive. Students 16 years with consent and older, teachers, parents, and the community of Brookshire were in line to donate blood.
With the help of the Health Science students and those who donated blood we more than doubled our estimated goal. To keep the donors stimulated while recovering we played many games and provided snacks. Students were aided to and from class. This was a very successful blood drive that will contribute to many lives.
