FFA members help kickoff Houston Livestock Show
Members of the Royal FFA Chapter helped kick off the start of the 87th Annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this weekend at the parade in downtown Houston where thousands of Houstonians watch over 9,000 Rodeo Fun-Run participants, 2,000 trail riders and 30 floats march down the streets. Three of our Royal FFA officers (Katy Arvizu, LeAnn Hillsman and Chayton Cope) represented our chapter as they rode through the parade on Goya Food’s float. Congratulations to Goya as they received the President’s Award! A huge thanks to Goya and Mrs. Mayte Weitzman for so generously allowing us to participate in the tradition and parade festivities. We appreciate their ongoing support and partnership with the Royal FFA Chapter. Good Luck to all Royal FFA members exhibiting a project at the Houston Livestock Show.
